Shane WitzkiExperiences shape how we see the world.

Teenagers experiencing the deluge of academic pressures, questions about which of their friends they can trust, and a near-constant state of internal changes they don’t understand…

Parents at their wit’s end with those teenagers who’ve started lying about where they were on Tuesday afternoon when they were supposed to be studying for that makeup Spanish test…

Wives who love their partners, and are committed to a stable relationship for themselves and their kids, but who also just found out about their husband’s affair…

These experiences shape us.

Then the pain from those experiences leaves us asking questions like…

Will I ever feel better?

What if I am just not good enough?

Why am I so broken?

Maybe you are not broken. You are human. You are more than good enough. In fact,…

You were created to experience joy and peace.

I want to create a safe, accepting, nurturing, genuine, and caring place for you.

You will be able to understand your emotions and experience a sense of freedom instead of feeling trapped in emotional turmoil. I can provide you with the connection you deserve and the tools you can utilize to live a life of fulfillment.

I enjoy working with various individuals and relationships.

I am a licensed professional counselor with a specialty in marriage and family. Before I became a therapist, I mentored high-risk youth and encouraged them to achieve a sustainable lifestyle.

In college,  I participated in Division I athletics, and I enjoy working with the challenges unique to athletes.

You matter and were never created to walk life alone.

It is a privilege and honor to be invited to be a part of your healing process.

No matter your age or where you are in life, we can get through this together.

Outside of the Office

I enjoy being with my family, exercising, sports, animals, and being with friends. As a former Division I college swimmer, I enjoy being around athletes. I enjoy learning and being able to help others when they need a hand.

“All of us, at some time or other, need help. Whether we’re giving or receiving help, each one of us has something valuable to bring to this world. That’s one of the things that connects us as neighbors – in our own way, each one of us is a giver and a receiver.”
