How long does therapy take?
We wish we could definitively answer this, but unfortunately, it is not possible. Every person is unique and what brings them into the counseling room is individual to them. The length of time to reach your goal for counseling will be individual to you.
How do I set up an appointment?
Setting up your first appointment is easy. You may do so by calling our office, sending an e-mail, or by clicking the link to set up an appointment on our website. We will receive your information and call you back during our normal office hours, or respond to your email. Additional appointments will be scheduled through our counselors.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Witzki Counseling Group accepts cash, checks, HSA cards, Flex spending cards, and all major credit cards as forms of payment. Payment is due at the time of service.
Do you take insurance?
Witzki Counseling Group does not accept or bill insurance directly. Our office will provide a super bill that will have all of the information you need to self-submit for reimbursement from your insurance company. If you have benefits, you may be reimbursed directly. The process is easy. We are considered out-of-network providers. If using your insurance is important to you, please contact your insurance provider to verify your plan’s benefits.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you are unable to attend a session, please call or e-mail to cancel at least 24 hours before your appointment. Otherwise, you will be charged for the full rate of the session. We do make exceptions to this policy, such as unexpected illness.
Why would therapy benefit me?
Therapy benefits everyone. If you think about it, you have probably been talking to at least one other person in your life about your situation and feelings. By speaking with a counselor, you will be talking to someone who has the education, training, and experience to step into your life with you, provide help, teach you new skills and new perspectives, and listen to you without judgment or expectations within a confidential setting.
Do you work with men, women, teens, children, couples, families, siblings?
Absolutely. We know everyone needs help sometimes. We have a passion for what we do and consider it a privilege to be invited into the lives of others.
What do you actually do in therapy?
Your session will be uniquely tailored to you and your needs. Your therapist and you will build a therapeutic relationship where you feel connected, understood, and no longer alone. Therapy will consist of talking, experiences, or play therapy. We may even go for a stroll in our peaceful area.
Is therapy worth it?

Yes, yes, yes. If you are still reading, you are needing something to change. We are confident therapy will help. It’s time for you to make that first step and contact us. You are worth the investment and you will be thankful you did.

Do I have to wear a mask?
No, nothing would make us happier than to see your smile. You may do whatever makes you comfortable.
